Elisa’s weaving was perfect for what we wanted—a backdrop to our wedding vows that we could bring home as a keepsake and reminder that life is a tapestry, woven with bits and bobs that don’t seem to make sense on their own, but when you take a step back at the end of the day, you’ll see the beauty in how everything came together. Elisa is so intuitive and genuine—her energy shines through in her creative process and we are so happy to have a piece of her heart work in our home.
I wanted a special weaving for the first home I ever owned. I love the sea, and the seaside, and wanted something that reflected that, and also the parts of my home that I loved. I also wanted the piece to be bright but soft. I gave Elisa these abstract ideas. I must have been one of those difficult customers but she was so patient in understanding what I wanted! We discussed the size, fringe and stick preferences. She asked me how I felt about certain colours and textures. Then she wove a masterpiece that I love more and more every time I look at it. I also loved the creation process as much as the piece itself. The weaving is now the centrepiece in my living room and all my guests ask about it. After a few months, I started a new job and asked her to make another weaving for me to put in my study. Thank you for my beautiful pieces!
